Newly opened amusement park in the City of Pines [2018] Read more for FAQs that will surely help you with your visit.
Let's start off with the rides. As we speak, there are 12 fantastic rides that you can definitely try. Personally, I suggest you guys visit the Skyranch Baguio in the afternoon, where the borderline of hotness and coldness of the weather adds up to your excitement.
“It has that thing. The feeling of happy and excitement I knew as a kid" - Walter Elias Disney
1. Baguio Eye
It's not an amusement park without this gigantic rides we call "Ferris Wheel"right? Upon entering the park, this sight will be the first one you will stumble upon. The ride is approximately 200 feet in height that you can definitely take advantage of in capturing scenic attractions of the city. The best part of the day to enjoy this ride is upon sunset, giving you the opportunity to take pictures of the city in half daylight and night. The led lights surrounding the gondolas add up to more mesmerizing pictures. The ride lasts about 10 ecstatic minutes that you will surely remember for the rest of your lives. Oh yeah! I almost forgot, be patient for the snail-moving line.
FEE: 150 per person/ride
2. Super Viking
I must say that this next ride only suits the brave of hearts. You see, this hell of a big boat flies up to 90 degrees thus, leaving your hearts and souls on top of your lungs. [hahaha] Not to mention, realizing your highest sopranos! For best experience, I suggest you occupy the last rows of each end and scream your lungs out while it swings. Be with your squad and don't try it with a full stomach. [hahaha]
FEE: 150 per person/ride
3. Sky Cruiser
The Sky Cruiser is kid friendly. You can definitely have your kids try it as long as they are 4 ft. and above [as required in most of the rides] The cruiser bike is good for 2 people but you can ride alone if that's what you want. The machine can be turned 360 degrees, adding up to your adrenaline experience. Make sure you don't mess with the trees around but splurge yourself with 'instagrammable' selfies ACROPHOBICS [person with fear of heights] are not welcome. Again, be patient for the snail-moving line.
FEE: 100 per person/ride
4. Drop Tower
Do you still love your life? Are you 110% sure that you are not ACROPHOBIC??? If yes you love your 'YOLO'LIFE and yes you don't have any fear of heights, then GO! This ride is composed of 15 devilish drops (as per my observation) that will surely test your sanity. Have you experienced waking up on a daydream coz' you felt like you fell from a building or something? That's how it feels, difference is, you are 100% AWAKE! It has 4 sides where you can choose to sit. I suggest you go for the seats in front for a better view of the whole park and a better view of your screams for the audience. [hahaha]
FEE: 100 per person/ride
5. Lolly Swing
At first I thought this ride wouldn't scare me a bit, but I was wrong. For a person with a vertigo such as myself, this ride will tickle your dizziness somehow. I definitely love reminiscing the 7 year old me on a swing at the nearest park, with a higher altitude and speed though. The swing can occupy 2 persons but can you surely go alone. In the event that the swing before you moves closer, just extend your feet straight to move the swing away. It's child friendly, just don't react much so they wouldn't feel scared. [hahaha]
FEE: 50 per person/ride
Now here are the rides that your kids and the kids at heart will surely enjoy.
6. Flying Bus
This fun ride is one ride you should not judge. Why? It's because I did. I thought, like the Lolly Swing, that it's just another baby ride but IT WAS NOT! [hahaha] It, again proved me wrong. The first rounds were fine but once it increases speed, mind you, it would make you scream as well. Again, try to keep it to yourself, especially the ones with minor companion so as not to frighten them. I guess the ride took almost 2 minutes but it sure is fun.
FEE: 50 per person/ride
7. Double Decker Carousel
[BUT it's just SINGLE DECKER for now]
The moment a kid enters an amusement park, expect that their eyes will be mesmerized by the carousel. Again, it's not an amusement park without these running horses on the carousel. This magical ride never fails to produce epic selfies even for the young at hearts. It's a treat of a lifetime especially for our young princesses. The kids must of course be accompanied by their guardians in this ride.
FEE: 50 per person/ride
8. Funny Swing
This ride is not as funny as its name. Please don't get it wrong. The ride is perfect for kids who are fond of the normal swing. It has two sides and can occupy a number of kids per side so it's perfect to ride it with their best friends. It is not as high as the other rides and as per my observation, a kid can go solo so mommy can go take snapshots of their kids at fun.
FEE: 50 per person/ride
9. Mini Pirate/Viking
If there's the SUPER VIKING for adults, then our youngsters have their share of the MINI version of the viking. Kids 4 feet below must definitely be accompanied by their adults but mind you, I sometimes see children with a dandy heart going solo on this ride. Screams will always be dominant in these boats. That's a FACT!
FEE: 50 per person/ride
10. Red Baron
This cutie ride must be enjoyed only by children 3-4 feet in height. It's super safe so need not to worry about your child's safety. You know the kiddie rides where we put tokens at the mall? I can say it's somehow like this but the rides are connected as one. It's a great start to train chicken-hearted young souls.
FEE: 50 per person/ride
11. E-Puff Train
The first ever train built in Baguio!!! The comfiest, eco-friendly train in town! The cousin of THOMAS but not with a face. [hehehe] During my photoshoot, I noticed that most of the people who rode this lovely train, were with their babies [below 12months] The best view was seeing these parents happily taking pictures of their innocent angels. The train goes around the whole amusement park for a couple of minutes. Just enough time to capture memories that will last a lifetime. I bet the photos will make one heck of a magical story in the future.
FEE: 50 per person/ride
12. Indianapolis [UNAVAILABLE]
Just to complete the list, I have included this ride. I'm not sure if this is still under construction but it's definitely not in sight as we speak. Just to give you an idea, the amusement looks like a bump car and I'm sure a lot are looking forward to this entertaining ride.
